1. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials, monitoring activity performed under your account, and updating your contact information. We may suspend or remove accounts that provide false information or remain inactive for extended periods.

2. Domain Usage & Ownership

When you claim a Devs.surf subdomain you gain a non-transferable right to use it for a legitimate project. The base domains remain our property and may be reclaimed if you violate these Terms, abandon the project, or if operational concerns require it. You are responsible for the content, security, and uptime of any services delivered through your DNS records.

3. Acceptable Use

Devs.surf is intended for personal products, open-source experiments, prototypes, side projects, and commercial ideas that comply with applicable law. You agree to:

• Follow local, national, and international regulations.
• Respect intellectual property rights and refrain from misrepresenting brands or people.
• Secure your applications, protect user data, and respond promptly to abuse reports.
• Ensure that automated traffic (bots, scrapers, cron jobs) stays within reasonable limits.

4. Prohibited Content & Activities

The following use cases are strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend or reclaim domains that fall into any of these categories:

• Illegal activity: fraud, phishing, piracy, distribution of stolen data, malware, or promotion of violence.
• Harassment, hate speech, defamation, doxxing, or coordinated abuse targeting individuals or groups.
• Sexual or nudity content intended for pornography, escorting, exploitation, or obscene material.
• Gambling, betting, sweepstakes, casino-style operations, or unlicensed raffles/lotteries.
• Extremism, terrorism, weapons trafficking, or instructions for causing harm.
• Spam networks, deceptive growth tactics, impersonation of brands, or resale of accounts without consent.
• Distribution of controlled substances, illegal drugs, counterfeit or stolen goods.

This list is illustrative rather than exhaustive. If a project feels unsafe, exploitative, or clearly outside our mission, we may take action without prior notice.

5. Enforcement & Reporting

We monitor abuse signals, community reports, and automated filters. Enforcement actions may include editing or removing DNS records, redirecting traffic, suspending accounts, reclaiming domains, or notifying relevant authorities. Decisions are final, but you can appeal by supplying additional context.

To report a violation, email info@bytelogic.me and include the domain, a description of the issue, and supporting evidence (screenshots, links, logs). We respond as quickly as possible.

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access immediately and without refund if you breach these Terms, create excessive operational load, or pose reputational risk to Devs.surf. Upon termination you must stop using the assigned subdomain, and we may redirect it, park it, or offer it to another user.

7. Liability & Disclaimer

Devs.surf is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, data retention, or DNS propagation times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for lost profits, damages, or claims arising from your use of the platform. You agree to indemnify ByteLogic Free Software against third-party claims linked to your projects.
